When we know someone we learn all about them. This is how we can come to trust the person and have a relationship with them. To know that God is good and He is able to do what He promises to do. That is knowing El Shadai. His character is described throughout the Bible in His name.
Our thoughts wander all over the place. They are formed from the experiences of our life. Words that have been spoken to us or over us as children or teens. People who have hurt our feelings or worse. Fears build up thoughts of strongholds that keep us shut away from other people.
Cultivate your relationship with the LORD and grow in the kingdom of God. We need to tend the garden of our hearts so that we can grow in the Kingdom of God.
